I was sitting in front of my computer, writing up a new story. It had been months since the last time I had tried to write, a fact that bothered me. The unpleasant thought that I had lost my touch had been lurking in my psyche, and I was trying to pick up weaving a plot again. A couple of years before, I had been a fairly prolific writer, almost able to write anything that came to mind.
